Customer reviews
Doro 5030 is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 53.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply the best! Quick and easy to set up, and simple to use. Purchased for an elderly relative who finds the buttons easy to use with arthritic fingers. Text size is adjustable and clear to read. Ring tone clear and loud, text alert ok ( a longer sounding alert would be better). Address book easy to access.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple and easy to use! I recently purchased this Doro 5030 phone for my grandfather, who is deaf and going blind. It is so simple for him to use, got a really loud ringer for him to hear and bigger buttons to see the numbers - he is thrilled! I would recommend this for any elderly struggling with the new and upcoming technology. :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent phone for the elderly This phone is ideal for users with some sight and hearing difficulties. The keys are large and clear, and the characters on the display are also large and clear. The sound and tones are extra loud, and the phone is very easy to use. A charging cradle is not currently available for this phone. A charging cradle would make charging the phone much easier for those with hand dexterity problems; I understand from Doro that a cradle for this phone will be available soon.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for the hard of hearing Bought this for my mother, who was struggling to hear on her previous mobile. This one has an option for the hard of hearing which seems to be effective. Simple to operate. Would recommend for less tech-savvy users

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use Bought this for my 80+ year old mum - her first mobile phone - wanted something simple & easy to use just for calls. Job done.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best simple to use phone Love it! Had various old style Nokia etc got this to replace Sony. Simple to set up, very easy to use. Buttons are large and well spaced, and two preset speed dial buttons. This is for anyone who just wants a phone to be a phone. Battery life is excellent, the ringer volume nice and loud, even has a panic button on the back that automatically dials and sends a text to preset numbers for anyone older or maybe lives alone. Even has a torch! Tried all the other Nokia etc, much more fiddly. Love it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple mobile phone for 90 year old to use We had their last module which was great to use just as a phone - the upgrade is unnecessary for the use I needed It for - my 90 year old mother - but may be useful for some.
